Shipping & Returns
At Love Kitchen Island, we are pleased to offer Free Ground Shipping to the contiguous United States (all states minus Alaska and Hawaii) on all orders.
Order Confirmation: As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.
Shipping Times: Most products ship out within 3 to 7 business days. Certain items are partially or fully custom made and may take up to 4 weeks to ship. If you need an item delivered by a certain date, we recommend you consider a faster shipping method. Most products have options for expedited shipping at checkout, but if this is not available you may email us to get a quote on next day or second day air: email@example.com. Orders which have been prepared for shipment cannot be cancelled.
Inventory & Pricing Errors: We do our very best to keep stock and inventory updates and pricing current and accurate. If you order an item that is out of stock or back ordered, we will let you know as quickly as possible. Delivery Instructions: In order to ensure secure delivery of your items, please follow these instructions:
Please be sure to include a daytime and an alternate phone number when you place the order so the freight company can coordinate a convenient delivery time with you. In the event the items you ordered cannot be left at the delivery location without a signature, being able to reach you and coordinate the delivery is very important.
Please give us a heads up before the delivery if there are obstructions such as small driveways, gates, fences or anything else which may prevent the delivery truck from reaching the delivery location. If the freight truck cannot reach the delivery location for any reason, we may ask you for another address to deliver it to.
Larger items are delivered curbside. Upgraded services such as white glove or inside delivery are available at an additional cost. For questions regarding this or for a quote on the additional costs, please email us prior to ordering at: email@example.com
Please inspect your order and its packaging before the delivery driver leaves and make a note on the delivery receipt if you find any damage. If the damage is severe, you may refuse to accept the package. Damage for a freight delivery must be notated on the paperwork you sign from the freight carrier.
For freight items, when receiving the product that appears to be in good condition, please write on the receiving slip from the carrier "condition subject to inspection."
Cancellations & Refunds:
All orders canceled after 48 hours are subject to a 15% administration fee, whether or not your order has shipped. If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order. For purchases of Homestyles, Benzara, Alpine Furniture and MEVA products, the following return policies also take effect:
We are pleased to offer a guarantee on all damaged or defective products from Homestyles. If your order is damaged, simply send photos of the damaged parts to email@example.com and we will send you brand new replacement parts at no cost. This is in lieu of asking you, the customer, to return the product and receive a replacement.
If you decide you would like to return a Homestyles product, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to take it off your hands. You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping, but we will set up the return and arrange for where you can drop off the package(s) at a UPS location near you. Homestyles products often ship in multiple boxes, so we ask that you return them in the original packaging if possible.
Benzara guarantees against manufacturers' defects for 14 days from the date of the delivery. We must be notified of the defect within 5 days of the product delivery, otherwise return policy is voided, no exceptions. All returns/exchanges must be made within 14 days of receipt of the merchandise. Merchandise must be in original factory condition, and must include all original packaging materials, warranty cards, manuals and accessories. Products may be returned with prior authorization only.
All returned merchandise is reimbursed for the original purchase price after deducting shipping & handling charges and must have a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA #). Buyers remorse/unwanted product returns will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Email email@example.com so we can process your return with Benzara.
15% restocking fee will be charged to all returned or cancelled merchandise.
Credits for returned items will only be issued if the merchandise is returned in its original packaging and upon the assignment of an authorization number.
Authorization numbers must be obtained before any merchandise is returned, exchanged or cancelled. Only merchandise with manufacturer caused defect will be accepted for exchange or returns. Merchandise that have been used or show signs of wear will not be accepted for either return or exchange (floor samples included)
Returns other than those due to manufacturers defect and shipping errors will be subject to a 30% restocking fee.
